The Hawaiian spinner dolphins are curious and playful by nature. This allows us a close dolphin viewing encounter that is unique and special every time. It is truly an epic ocean experience that will be one of your best memories of your time in Hawaii!

We conduct our Dolphin Viewing & Reef Swim Tours with respect for the wildlife. The safety of the animals and our guests are our highest priorities. Seasonal Humpback Whale Watching (December-April)
Seasonally, we trade our dolphin viewing for our spectacular Humpback Whale watching that we have in Puako. Puako is at the center of the Whale Sanctuary on the Big Island of Hawaii giving us some of the most incredible whale encounters on the Island. Listen to them sing while you snorkel and then jump back on the boat to watch them play and relax with their new babies in our shallow sandy waters.

Additional Coral Reef Info
The ocean off the west coast of Hawai‘i Island is home to vibrant coral reefs, fish, green sea turtles, spinner dolphins, whales, and manta rays. West Hawai‘i has the largest expanse of intact and actively growing coral reef in all of the main Hawaiian Islands. The wide array of ocean life makes west Hawai‘i incredibly important for marine biodiversity and human society. The coastal ocean and coral reefs provide seafood, resources for tourism and recreation, protection from wave and storm impacts, and the preservation of cultural practices.
Even though they may appear to be nothing but rock, reefs are alive. Corals give reefs their structure. The limestone skeletons of living coral, the hard skeletal remains of dead coral and a soft type of coral provide structure for a reef, offering habitat and food to the many fish and invertebrates, including lobsters, octopus and crabs that live around it. And algae – more than 500 species live in Hawaii’s coral reef alone – not only provide fish with food, but also provide life-sustaining oxygen for all marine life. In fact, the oceans’ algae provide more oxygen than all land plants worldwide combined.
About one-fourth of the plants, fish, and invertebrates found in the Hawaiian coral reef are endemic to Hawaii, meaning that they can’t be found anywhere else on Earth. In the past, reef fish provided Hawaiians with the majority of their protein. And, of course, reef fish continue to be a dietary staple for many people inhabiting and visiting Hawaii.
